Bob here, and I wanted to share with you some of the great things that have been happening with Brick Cave Media, and how you can help me take it to the next level. We are using IndieGoGo, a popular crowd funding site, to raise some money to help Brick Cave get to the next level. I was wondering if I might ask you to stop over to the campaign website and make a quick contribution.
The great part, is that Anthology, inc. is acting as Brick Cave’s fiscal agent, so you are actually making your donation to Anthology. Being an IRS qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit, your contributions are tax deductible (check with a tax person for your specific circumstance), and a portion of each contribution goes directly to Anthology to support the literary arts!
Why are we using crowd funding? I don’t think it’s any secret that funding for entrepreneurs and small businesses is ridiculously unavailable. That being said, our business model is one that, quite literally, I have been working on and honing for 15 years, and I believe that it is both viable and exciting.
If you don’t know, I am, in essence, leveraging all these great web 2.0 sites and opportunities to organize artists, writers and others into a new sort of media company- one where they both have the support that they need and the ability to be involved in it’s workings. It’s not a new idea, but there are a number of people that I know, that are talented people, and they just have not had the opportunity to shine like they deserve for their work- Brick Cave Media is intended to help them to shine.
We have had a tremendous 4 years, from starting with The Hit List by Bill Campana, to the soon to be released Healer’s Legacy by Sharon Skinner, these are projects that may never have seen the light of day without the support, time and energy that I have put into this business. And we have so much more in store for 2012, from many more writers, artists, and others- chances are, if you know me, you know most of these people.
But to get to the next level, I need some help. It’s no joke, money is options. Options for promotion. Options for new technology. Options for doing some more of things that people never thought could be done- we’re doing them. We are releasing movies, and sharing poetry to whole new audiences, and creating new art for people to enjoy.
So, please, go through our websites, see what we are doing, and consider making a contribution. The website is below for the contribution page at IndieGoGo.com. Send me an email, ask me questions, happy to answer.
Thank you for your support!
