This week in the Brick Cave Universe

So, alot to be found this week in the Brick Cave Universe, let's get to it…

In the Art, we are mostly playing catch up. We are integrating all the artistic areas of the organization into the site, so it may be a little while fbefore the site comes together the way it should. This year's Art site is last year's Audio site, if you know what we mean :-) .

Speaking of Audio, new Klute MP3's will be released on the 25th, and he's got a big LIVE SHOW to promote them! Most of the audio work right now is on producing the Brick Cave Bookcast, but we have a few more albums in the fire as it were…

Today, It's all about Scott Woods new book coming out Jan 25th. It's a tremendous effort, and one that we are very proud to represent. In the Not-Too-Distant Horizon, we have a new Sharon Skinner book, The Nelig Stones, coming out in March, and some suprises in store for this summer. And there is The Bookcast. Definitley worth your time to check it out, we have a tremendous duo in Brent Heffron and Jenn Czep, and we think you will absolutely enjoy the energy.

We're not talking alot about it, but the Bognogginz Project is moving forward. we watched some sample footage this last week… HILARIOUS. Look for Jim Jenkins to be at Amazing Arizona Comic Con (With Us). We are still seeking some funding help for Subterfuge, so if you have some money burning a hole in your pocket, drop us a line. We also recently shot an interview with Michael  D'Ambrosio for- you guessed it, the Bookcast, so you'll be seeing that soon.

That's the roundup this week… hopefully, we can keep you in the know on a weekly basis right here.

So, That Was Fun…

On Behalf of the Brick Cave Media family, our artists, authors, creatirs and organizers, please accept our wishes for a prosperous and exciting New Year.

This is it, the last day of 2012. Wow, we had such a tremendous year it's hard to even say where to begin.

Thank you to all for the warm reception to Sharon Skinner's The Healer's Legacy and J.A. Giunta's The Mists of Faeron. Both books sold very well for us and we were able to give out our fist sales awards in 2012. As a matter of fact, we broke all of the records for our publishing sales, and we have you to thank for that!

It really was the year of the book, as we got Sharon and Joe out in front of people at Leprecon 38, PHXCC and Sharon was a panelist at the TusCon convention in November.

A special thank you also to all of you who stuck with us through our huge audio transition this year. While it was a challenging time for our album lineup with most of the albums having big chunks of time not being available this year, we ended the year on a strong note, with December being the best year for the audio gang, and we hope to ride that momentum right into 2013.

One of the highlights of 2012, was debuting the short film Yellowstone Sunset at the Phoenix Comicon, and the tremendous discussion that ensued over it.

On the business side, we continued to organize and accomplish a ton of things, including our own advertising network, now boasting access to over 30 seperate websites, and providing over 80,000 impressions for the year (our first).

That's just the tip of the iceberg, and we are just getting warmed up for a huge 2013… but thank you to everyone that believed, supported and pitched in in 2012!

Bob Nelson

Head Guy,
